We have been pleased to welcome some new children to our groups this week, which is always exciting for us!

We are continuing to work on our pencil control and writing skills, with some of us now able to write our names independently! We are very proud of this.

A big highlight this week, however, was taking part in World Book Day celebrations. We very much enjoyed dressing up as some of our favourite characters from books we know.

We have also visited the imagination studio to listen to our story this week which was stick man. The children then had the chance to play on the interactive floor trying to pop as many balloons as they could.

In maths this week we have been looking at patterns and shapes. The children have had the chance to make lots of arrangements with shapes. We have also looked at different patterns. The children have been able to follow a repeated pattern of a blue bear, red bear, blue bear. They can then carry on this repeated pattern.
