Year 4 have settled back in well after the half term break. In English we have enjoyed the start of two weeks work on poetry and learned all about poetic features of “Fireworks” by James Reeve. We have also started our new History topic about the Romans and learned about why the Romans were so important and also why they wanted to invade Britain. Another thing we learned about was Roman society and how awful life was for the poor slaves!
We also enjoyed taking part in an exciting chemical reaction experiment to investigate how fireworks work as another part of our Bonfire Night celebrations.
